The third look of the Sequin Style Challenge is brought to you by Meraiah (@meraiaht), a beautiful friend inside and out! Her suggestions came by a series of pictures via Facebook:
This was the hardest recommendation to execute as I have a similar necklace (from Catina Couture in Lake Charles!) and pair of heels, but as cute as the blouse is, it’s unfortunately not in my closet.
So, what’s a girl to do?
The answer: improvise.
I paired my Banana Republic ruffled blouse (featured previously here) with a pink cashmere sweater to mimic the color and the ruffle hem of the suggested blouse, and voila.
I love how dainty and feminine this look is, and hope you do too! If you’re brave, you could totally pull off sequins at the office with this button-down and light sweater combo.
