Simplicity

These Vince Camuto mules are basic, but oh so chic. The block heel makes them comfortable for all day wear, and black leather goes with just about everything. I’ve mainly paired them with pants so far, but hope to throw them on with a dress or skirt in the near future. They’ll also transition great into fall.

The white jean and v-neck blouse are from Banana Republic. I love that both of these pieces have very subtle details that give them their edge. The distressing of this jean is just right, especially with the raw hem. Admittedly, it is hard to tell in these photos, but the edge is there. I promise. (And great news, you can snag them on sale here.) The black tank is made of silk which gives the outfit some luxe, and I love the sheer detailing at the neckline. Another great alternative would be a tank with lace detailing, like this one.

The last feature of this outfit is the chunky, chained necklace in a beige tortoise shell. I love that it adds some visual interest while keeping the color palate neutral. (And it was a great Dillard’s clearance find.) You can shop similar necklaces here, here & here.
